Now is the time to favour her!
Dear Friends,
A couple of weeks ago, I (Mark) was asking the LORD if there was something specific He wanted me to share at a Zoom conference the next day. Immediately, I heard Him say, “Now is the time to favour her". I felt an emphasis on the word, “now”. It felt like it was vibrating within me. Then, He expanded a little further, “Now is the time to favour her, My son. The door is open. The time is now".
Wow, that definitely got my attention! I started thinking about the number 70. Part of our testimony is that it was 70 years after the end of WWII, and with it the end of the Holocaust, when God opened the door for us to start the House of Prayer.
Before that, we had been waiting for the vision to be “earthed”. We were living in Krakow, driving every week to pray around Auschwitz-Birkenau. But whenever we tried to get a foothold on the land, we were blocked – again and again – and that was our testimony for 7 years! Suddenly, in May 2015, the door swung open WIDE. Suddenly, EVERYTHING opened up and we saw miracle after miracle. The vision was grounded exactly 70 years after the end of the Holocaust.
As I was thinking and talking with the LORD about this, I decided to look up 70 in the bible. 70 = 7 x 10. 7 represents divine perfection and 10 represents something that’s complete, something that can’t be added to. In other words, 70 represents something that is perfectly complete.
The Holy Spirit clarified it for me, "70 represents perfect completion, a finish, an end to an old order and the start of a new order”.
- 70 descendants of Jacob went into Egypt (perfect number, complete)
- 70 days of mourning for Jacob (no more days were necessary, mourning was complete)
- 70 weeks of years in Daniel 9 (Israel's history is complete)
- 70 elders went with Moses on the mountain with God (perfect number, complete)
- 70 years of captivity in Babylon (no more years were necessary, captivity was complete)
The Holy Spirit clarified it again for me, "So, when I say, ‘now is the time to favour her’, it means the old order is complete, it’s the start of a new order.”
I immediately asked, “So, what is the new order…?”.
“It’s favour and blessing for the Jewish People. I will remember their sins no more. It’s time for My People to enter the New Covenant of My grace”. He said the same thing a little later. “It’s time for My People to enter the New Covenant I have prepared for them. Now is the time.”
Another Wow! I could feel the Holy Spirit all over this. I decided to look up Psalm 102. This is one of the clearest descriptions of the Holocaust that we have in the Bible. It says it was written for a “generation to come”.
Hear my prayer, O Lord and let my cry come to You. Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble, incline Your ear to me. In the day that I call, answer me speedily. For my days have been consumed in smoke, and my bones have been burned as a fire-brand. Because of the sound of my groaning my bones cling to my skin. For I have eaten ashes like bread and mingled my drink with weeping. (Psalm 102:1-3, 5, 9)
The “favour” verse comes a few verses later,
You (God) will arise and have mercy on Zion, for the time to favour her, yes, the SET TIME has come (Psalm 102:13)
SET TIME = “moed” in Hebrew (strongs, h4150). It means an appointment, a fixed time or season, an appointed time. So, if we look at that verse again, there is an appointment for the Jewish People, an appointed time or season, which comes AFTER the Holocaust, when God will arise and show favour (blessing) to Israel.
I believe that appointed time has come. I believe it started 70 years after the end of the Holocaust. After 2000 years of exile, culminating in 6 million Jews murdered by the Nazis, now is the time when God wants His ancient people home. Not just home in the land of Israel, but home in the Father’s heart. After all, the New Covenant, so beautifully described in Jeremiah 33, is THEIR covenant. It’s ours too, but we are grafted in. Actually, we are all ONE in Messiah.
We read in Paul’s letter to the Romans, chapter 11,
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brethren, so that you may not be conceited, that blindness in part has happened to Israel UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way, ALL ISRAEL will be saved. (Romans 11:25,26)
There is a sequence, a process. Israel has received blindness for a season UNTIL an appointed time when God will remove that blindness. Then ALL ISRAEL will be saved. They will see and recognise their Messiah and come into all the blessings of the New Covenant. And the world will be richer for it. We will ALL be richer for it!
A few years back, when we were staying in Jerusalem, God showed me a verse from Isaiah 30.
The moon will be as bright as the sun, and the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, in the day when the LORD binds up the bruise of His people and heals the stroke of their wound. (Isaiah 30:26)
Here, the light refers to God’s Presence and Glory. His Presence will multiply around the earth in the day (the season) when the LORD heals the stroke of their wound. That wound, I believe, is the wound of the Holocaust. God will heal that wound, and then they will embrace Him.
It says the same thing in Psalm 102, a few verses later.
For the Lord will rebuild Zion, and He will appear in His glory (Psalm 102:16)
So, after the rebuilding, He will appear in His glory. I definitely want to see that!
But we don’t just get to see what Father is doing, we also get to participate in it. God has put the Prayer House here for a purpose. There will be praise and worship AND kingdom government. So, we get to ADMINISTRATE His love, favour and grace to Israel and the Jewish people. It’s from heaven to earth, “Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”.
I don’t think it’s about getting a good idea and organising a project to reach out to Jewish people. I think it’s more about learning to connect with heaven, jumping into the River of Life that’s flowing from His throne, and doing what we see the Father doing.
And we do it all from a place of rest – in HIM.

Latest on the Building
The Prayer House has been given a face-lift!
There’s been major transformation to the outside of the Prayer House. We’ve had 6 guys working here for the past 5 weeks. For those who are interested, this is what they’ve done so far, in approximately the right order:
- 20 cm insulation (Styrofoam) on the walls
- Black granite window sills, throughout
- Under-plaster on the walls
- Wooden soffits and steel to seal the underside of the roof
- Painting the wooden soffits (colour = grey, 3 coats)
- Hard final plaster (colour = cream)
- Natural slate around the basement (colour=silver grey)
